Flute Solid
What is the best flute out there for an advanced player?
I been playing from 6 years now and i decided it is time to get a new flute. I want a open keyed flute and solid silver that will help me through grades and will be good for concerts and solos. I currently have a a yahama 211.
I don't know what would be the best flute for me to get and need some advice. I'm a fluent player and i need a good sounding flute. I know i need a lot but a want a fab flute.

As much as I love Gemeinhardt flutes, I would have to say a Yamaha would definitely be a smart choice for you. It's Very Good quality and it's reasonably priced. If you're really fluent I would suggest getting an open-keyed flute as well. If you're nervous about that, they have little invisible stoppers you can use to plug the holes so you can gradually get used to playing with an open-keyed flute. So to summarize, an open-keyed Yamaha. Good luck!
